Carmen

Carmen was born in Italy and came to Australia when she was 2 years old. She went to a conservatorium of music and became a high school teacher for music, English and Italian. She has had a dream of opening her own child care centre to teach little children for a long time.

Do-Re-Mi Child Care Centre opened on the 7th of April 1997, finally fulfilling Carmen’s desires. Carmen loves having the children around and playing the piano accordion for their enjoyment.

marina and andrew

Marina

Marina is also from the local area and is Bill and Carmen’s daughter and Andrew’s wife. She previously worked in administration, but has been actively involved at the centre since its opening in 1997. Along with raising her 2 children, she helps with the office work for the centre to keep things organised.

Andrew

Andrew is our Centre Director and is Bill and Carmen’s son-in-law. Before coming to the centre, he was a supervisor at the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). He has 2 children and is from the local area.
