EYLF- Early Years Learning Framework

We use the government approved Early Years Learning Framework, which describes principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance young children’s learning. This system helps children to:
  • Belong. Children feel they belong because of the relationships they have with their family, community, culture and place.
  • Be. Childhood is a special time in life, and children need time to just ‘be’—time to play, try new things and have fun.
  • Become. Children start to form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes the type of adult they will become.

School readiness

Beginning school can be a confusing time for young children. There are many expectations and requirements that they have never experienced before. The students that attend our day care will learn valuable skills and foundations that will help them smoothly transition and succeed in their schooling.

Children portfolios

We strive to prepare your child for the next educational challenges they will face. While attending our daycare, they will start and add to a portfolio that allows students to be creative and teachers to ensure their progress. Students leave our daycare with a valuable collection that showcases their skills and achievements.

Working together with families

We strive to develop positive, mutually respectful relationships with each family member as we work in partnership to achieve the best possible outcomes for all. We believe that working with families is central to ensuring continuity and progression in a child’s learning, development and future success.
